Most of the negativity is based solely on the drop in the share price. Instead of seeing the obvious, i.e. the flood of short selling to suppress the price whenever the stock shows some strength, people overthink it looking for some fundamental reason.
So...
*we get speculative interpretations which are skewed... e.g. the consortium is a non starter when it is much more likely they placed US$15M with ASM as a sign of good faith and to maintain their priority position.
*The CR raised significant cash which is stated to "primarily be used to accelerate activities at the Korean Metals Plant and to progress the Dubbo Project" but this is seen as some sort of negative... how I don't understand.
*Management has been in many high level meetings with several foreign government officials, ASM has received cash support from SK, logistic support and various SK government agencies assuring supply of REE for the metals plant, a working capital loan from the Korean Development Bank... I could go on but maybe people should just reread the 1/4ly ( https://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20221026/pdf/45grjksw53vz46.pdf ).
HC is only a useful resource when the contributors are offering analysis of the various companies. Over the years it has degenerated into a venue for people to vent their fears and seek consolation when the SP drops below their buy-in price.
