Good to see some moderate purchases of shares amid the algorithmic trading crap. Most likely retail buyers topping up with imminent Dubbo off take agreements.
Short sales are back to 5.76 million obviously a $1 million parcel not reported on 12/9/2023. Apologise for the wrong year in the above post.
I do not fully comprehend the "futures roll over on Thursday". Does this mean that the short sellers will have to cover their 5.7million shares currently short sold prior to re selling the 5.7 million shares into the December contract? Will we see large after market transactions on Thursday?
Looking at the trading action, with the typical multiple small parcel transactions, it's a bit of a toss up if we get to 6 million short sold before Dubbo and further positive KSM announcements. I still believe that time is on our side and the short selling tossers are selling themselves into a potential panic squeeze.
