This is good news. I can see what you mean with the shorts on the Large and small speculators being up substantially and the longs being down. It would cause you to think gold was going down and did for that first day but then came back strong. It's a shame the cot indicators only come out on a weekly basis and I'm surmising that is why you said it's not useful for timing as things can change substantially in that period of time.

As far as RMS is concerned I am hoping for a short squeeze today, probably at close. With over 8 million shares shorted I would say some would want to consolidate. I bought another 25000 shares at open. I had them in @ 76.5 and got them @ 75.5 Bargain.....

Hopefully we can go for a bit of a run from here.
