Share Consolidations often equal down

Share Splits often up

I think it's largely psychological to the market take the monetary value out of it & on share price alone - consolidate it looks expensive, split it looks cheap i guess it's hard for some to change their patterns of thought when a price has become the norm.

But it also depends on the overall markets direction & risk.

Look at AVH's history huge consolidation 10/1 then back to the pre consolidation level not long after - crippled any holders pre consolidation & would of left many with unmarketable parcels but in turn it provided an amazing opportunity for those coming after the banana.

Not linking anything with ANP or saying there will be any kind of consolidation but as it was brought up .........
