    and what convictions - and in what form should these convictions be? policies? election promises?

    Whitlam was the last ------------- and look what the scummy liberals did there and the backing Australia gave Whitlam with an election forced on him

    political hollowness my arse ---------- Australia is the land of the gutless wonder. If it ain't 'I'm alright jack' ------ then, it ain't on.

    if any political party or person comes up with 'purpose'- real purpose and conviction

    they just plain don't get voted in

    and if they tried on purpose and conviction that is nation building in their term - they sure don't get re elected
