Sorry joe123 but I can't let your post go by without comment. To the best of my knowledge BDG/UML never, repeat never, promised to produce 500K in 2011 or any other year for that matter! What management did say on a number of occasions is that their goal is to transform the company into a 500K ounce a year producer.
Quite obviously this will not happen overnight and there will be speed humps along the way (BCD debacle).
I invest in a number of other gold companies and for every one with share holders patting themselves on the back for their great stock picking skills, there's another where they are bitching about the SP!
I would suggest you go back over the BDG announcements for the last 6-12 months and read them CAREFULLY.
I am holding and looking forward to the Dec.quarter results in a couple of weeks.
