Hey Collsey... the scenario is not isolated (as I suspected) to PVM. I hope you did not get caught the way I did with PVM. I am normally a very cautious punter.
Its very disheartening that good company fundamentals have to take a backseat to the RS global econimic fundamentals.
The silence on this forum and others is due to everyone being in shock... being as shell-shocked as Shellbell.
The euphoria in this place and in the ASX Casino can be snuffed out that fast. Its no place to invest money... only punt money. The only way to make a "safe" investment, in my opinion, is to be cashed up when the market crashes again. It may not be that far away or it may be next year, the year after, or the year after that. In the meantime only use "punt" money. I have pulled a lot of my allocated funds from the market. I am prepared to leave some in for the "just in case" scenario.
As for the silence that permeates... I suspect most have moved out of the stock and perhap even the market altogether and waiting on the sidelines. Others may still be clinging on to their holdings... resigned to the ever decreasing value... and dont want to talk about it. Well, it is a shitty situation we find ourselves in,isnt it?
Hopefully, the "squarking of excitement and opinions" (as you put it Collsey) will return one day, but it may be a long way down the track.
Dont know what sort of company announcements can turn this around. We are at the mercy of external economics and politics unfortunately. I havent looked at the latest presentation, but it has had little effect.
Thanks for your response, Collsey. Good to have some action on the forum again.
