Yes - I know its been awhile since I made a number of phone call about this company. JackF - there was no real instance that could be tagged to KBL - but the TV Program had a number of references that reminded me on what I was told when making the phone calls. For the life of me I simply cannot understand how a company can simply disappear the way KBL did and no-one in ATSIC took any notice. I have recently noticed that a CEO of another company has been questioned about inside trading which occurred some four to five years ago - so who knows someone in ATSIC may still find the need to get off their 'rear end' and do something. Recently I came across a reference to Kia Ora Gold; "From 1979 to 1987, the mine was operated as a joint venture between Kia Ora Gold Corporation NL and Western United Limited, after which it was sold to Mawson Pacific Limited. Mawson Pacific subsequently sold the mine to Reynolds Australia Gold Operations Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Reynolds US Metals". The explanation continues on where the Marvel Lock Gold mine was on a giddy round of various owners and I fear the same can be said in the future of the mines that were owned by KBL. To me the system is simply a disgrace.
