The placement (at $7.70) was at a discount to the sp at the time (as is usual).
The problem now for shareholders is that SLX has done a lot of roadshows and particularly UK funds are interested in buying in. The problem is volume. It is hard to get set in SLX when liquidity is not there. so they set about to fustrate small holders. Doing a good job too but I am a major holder and it hurts no end.
