I’ll start taking an interest in EVs when I can pull into any servo in the country and recharge in about 4 minutes, like I can do now with an ICE vehicle.
But that’s just my starting point.
I would then looking at the initial purchase cost compared to ICE, level of acceptance of EVs as a trade in and what they’ll fetch, insurance costs / repairability / time to repair, recharging network, and battery warranty (unless the price of the battery itself falls dramatically, then the battery warranty isn’t such an issue).
I’ll assume that range won’t be an issue by then.
And I don’t tow, so that isn’t a concern for me.
