I drove a 2010 hybrid yesterday with the original NMH battery and it drove beautifully... regenerative braking & deceleration , EV 30% of the time and fuel economy 35% better than the equivalent ICE. It has 120,000 kms and a market value 15% more than an equivalent ICE.
I was told that Infinitiv# rebuilds the battery for $1650 which is certainly a lot less than a friend was quoted for a RWC on his 145,000 kms ML320 MB (ICE.)
