the snow is melting fast, page-4

I never thought I would be watching melting snow with so much interest ! Its interesting that for the last 2 nights at 8300 feet it has frozen,just. But up on the Ridge it hasnt got to within 5F of freezing(must be the wind ?). The snow levels are,nonetheless, coming down at much the same rate. In my previous post I could have more accurately said that activity at CC seemed to stall last winter as the snow level went from about 10" to 15" ,but added that Im sure it didnt stop.
