Australian Government agencies have been failing ,hence the increasing number of Royal Commissions, and it is about time that Government has a hard look at their structures, mandates & funding to ascertain if they are still fit for purpose. We simply cant have ongoing Royal Commissions without permanent remedies.
The ASIC apparent HR Rort is the most recent and this is exacerbated by the fact that ASIC is supposed to be the Corporate Watchdog. Do we have foxes looking after chicken houses?
