Take note of what was highlighted about debit cards in India, particularly withdrawals per card. All bodes well for TSI India and India in general.

ATMs - 201,861
POS terminals - 1,443,899
Credit Cards - 25,943,794
Debit Cards - 697,222,455

All ticking up and rapidly. As for what was highlighted in the article re m-commerce, with the introduction of the new schemes recently coming online UPI and BBPS, I do agree that this will take time before mass acceptance and adoption take place, but don't be surprised how rapidly these systems can catch on with mass promotion by NPCI and the Indian banks.
