The Solomon Islands

Starting point: there is no way we can offer that country the same money China can.
And they will offer them the world. When I say 'them" I mean the people in power there today.
And they will and probably already do think China is the best thing since kava.
The only people who can match China's deal is the US and they are probably too late to the party.

The result: we are going to have a Chinese military base within striking distance of our country.
But hey, they've already got Darwin port, as a result of God knows what stupidity.
First things first. Get rid of them from Darwin.
Second thing second: send commiserations to the folks in the USA whose grandpas died in liberating the Solomons from the Japanese.
