One issue for me that I worry about is ....is this a way for the present leader to use Chinas power to stay in power in the Solomons no matter what . This would make him effectively a puppet of the Chinese . If elections are honoured and the deal is Kosha ...it is their country . The devil is in the detail of the agreement which we don't know .
They are talking about building a secnd Darwin port now which might help .
