The War of the Sons of Light Against the Sons of Darkness
This was an Essene male Jewish sect clustered in a community at Qumran in the Judaean desert during the first half of the 2nd century BC, who considered themselves as being holy elect of Israel, being the sons of light who would at the end of time be engaged in a war with the enemies of Israel or the sons of darkness.
Nothing to do with Christianity as they died out by the end of the 1st century AD or by the time Christianity took hold.
