Pizza, or the corporate version of it anyway, is so intensely competitive it looks from the outside like the closest thing to a "commodity" prepared food that is out there. Crust is overpriced for what is pretty much just the same junkie biscuits DMP sells but with a bit of rocket put on top to make it "gourmet" and then adding 40%-50% to the price. At that price point there are plenty of independent places that offer something far better. I can even go to the local Maloneys or QE and buy one of their heat at home pizzas and its significantly better than the Crust version.
