Fair comment - the past for RFG has been horrendous and frankly, jail sentences were deserving. I am personally aware of the destruction done with lives lost and families destroyed. The blame must rest with past management. But rebirth is possible. Take Capral (CAA). It lost hundreds and hundreds of millions, but it has very successfully reinvented itself and now dominates its market. It has been very, very good to me and the dividend stream spectacular because no tax has been paid for yonks as it works through the tax losses. Yet another comparison of good management v bad management. Im not yet prepared to call current RFG management as ‘good’ yet, but they are improved and are showing signs of tightening up. Being a SEQ resident I know about Beefy’s pies- great product and with a manufacturing base which will benefit from a wide channel. RFG isn’t a ‘sell you first born’ and sink it into the company, but has genuine possibilities of significant improvement.
