re: global warming
global warming should be broken up into two issues
Increased ocean warming as a result of co2 absorption esp as replacing the amazon and other plant specific areas as carbon sink (this is far more serious than atmospheric warming)
Atmospheric warming which isnt showing signs yet as the oceans are absorbing 70% of co2 emissions at present - other global warming compunds that are too light to sink will end up in the atmsophere - perhaps this could be reversed by realising large amounts of global cooling compounds and gases into the air ie white dust etc
