Intriguing notion - but nothing can be sold without a vote by shareholders. It hasn't been done yet. AVB will have to announce the potential deal/s well before the vote so I expect the details to be released well in advance of the AGM.
In line with my initial thoughts, though. Look closely at what constitutes a related party and it may cut down the candidates a bit. Also, associates of related parties count as related parties too.
There are only 3 10%+ holders of AVB and to my recollection Blackrock has a financial agreement with AVB. So who else is associated with these companies? Do any of these companies hold a stake ("associate") with any other entity which may want to buy something from AVB?
It's kind of like playing Guess Who - keep slicing away at options and it should get easier to figure it out![]()
