Would be nice to have a thread where the full implications of MRF going into spherical graphite are shared and discussed.
I think the concerns I raise are very valid because to move from a miner to a production company requires a hard slog of due diligence, finance and a whole lot of specialist labour and infrastructure. $$$, time and more $$$
According to my research on spherical graphite manufacture it is expensive, and creates waste that needs to be dealt with. My understanding of Wuhan university is that they are pretty much on top of the processes and while Germany may have been first to get it going, I think China is looking at making it cheaper. Interestingly I first came across talk of spherical graphite when there was discussion of using the pellets in small portable nuclear power devices some years back. I forget the actual workings of that now, but I was pretty sure it was German or Japanese design. Anyway..offtrack.
Lets hope the Nov roadshows are about PR and not about CR initiatives. I know they are planning to add extra shafts next year, and reinforce the ones they have, so perhaps there is more on the agenda than just presenting the company.
Looking forward to this being a discussion thread ON TOPIC.
