I just had a brain wave....
You won't actually have to transfer them manually if your HIN was on the SPP application form. Mine was sent to me with my HIN on it as part of the details section.
The additional shares I got in the SPP are showing as CHESS sponsored in Computershare so they should definitely appear in Comsec automatically.
