Thanks for posting, dazza00. Dr Patterson is clearly an expert in this field, as you say, and for once, the ABC interviewer (largely) kept her personal views to herself. Take heed, Sarah Ferguson, Louise Milligan and the many others at the ABC who ask their questions only to interrupt every answer within the first 15 seconds.
it was good to hear an expert spike big holes in CSIRO’s so-called GenCost report. That report was a con, if ever there was one. CSIRO used to be a highly respected institution (and for good reason, until fairly recent times) but it will only trash its good reputation if it continues to take on ‘fix it’ jobs for the government in power. It should have refused the commission, and managed the consequences.
