It seems to me the market had a heads up about this Ukraine operation and shorters were probably salivating at the prospect.
Shiort interest went up heaps the past weeks across many uranium names on the ASX & TSX.
Anyway, the mission has failed dismally and this was the last ditch attempt by Kiev because they are now basically done because there will be no more funds from the west with offensise loss after loss.
Hopefully peace talks soon.
