They want 400GW of nuclear power by 2050 so my guess is they will double the build per annum beyond 2035. They need nuclear to be around 20% of their grid. Each reactor is around 1GW.
Their build time on AP1000s is getting very quick and more efficient.
For China this is also a form of fiscal stimulation as they transition from an infrasture based growth economy to a consumption based economy which will consume much more energy.
