I agree, I don't think many on here have argued renewables should not be part of out mix, but those who continue to push the 80% + wind & solar mix have zero clue are now the biggest threat to our energy national security. Fighting ideology is very hard.
Plus its looking more and more likely the US might just set us a drift if we don't increase our defence spending relative to our GDP. Interesting times ahead.
