We have limited supply here, no planning for an additional 100% capacity by early 2030s. Many of these proposed data centres here won’t get juice at the expense of homes and industry. Same in the US which is why they are commissioning their own nuclear. Why on earth would they want to pay the prices here anyway?
I smell a rat with the Amazon announcement. Bezos… good chance it will never happen and was to garner favour.
