I’d be concerned if PDN was an outlier but the entire Australian U sector has been shorted by US hedge funds. It seems a macro play rather than targeted. Increasing or high shorts would normally have me take a cautious position on stocks but happy to bet against them here. There seems to be a fair amount of baseless assumption in their strategy that is unwinding by the week (uranium trust selling into the spot market being their most recent clanger).
