My exit is pre-determined based on the volatility of a stock, its fundamentals, the point in the price cycle and my conviction in the position.
Not a perfect science and not a stab in the dark. Just a personal process developed over 40 years that protects me from my own foibles to not get too greedy or blinkered vision, and always release cash for the next opportunity that one can never know when or where will turn up.
