Perhaps that is not so much a blessing as a curse when fending for yourself in the midst of a field of pirates. Molly-coddled market participants are precisely their target group.
In my decades as a participant in what I consider a 'slaughterhouse', I've learned that it's better to profit from their (shorters) poorly researched reckless moves rather than becoming an eventual victim.
