From July 25 2022 to August 10 2022 they closed out 15m shorts approximately going from 20m to 5m on Vimy approval.
The SP went from 65c to 84c around 30% and the volume in the chart below didnt include the CHI.







AT Sept 2022 there were maximum 6m shorts opened above 85c but lower than $1.25


By Jan 2023 that increased by 14m shorts all under 85c.
The position increased to 35m early August 2023 with the majority at lower prices.
15m closed out in the August run up leaving 20m
Immediately 13m opened around 90-95c increasing it to 33m

7-9m closed out between $0.90-$1.40

Through Oct-Nov theres around 25m shorts left that probably average and open price around 85c. (If we hit $1.40 on Monday these are down around $14m)

Literally stuff all were opened above $1.20 which is a huge win for us MEANING STUFF ALL IN THE MONEY and shows for the past 12 months they have generally got this wrong as they have been increasing into the dips and not at the top of resistance.

11m opened up 20-25 Nov approx between $1.10-$1.20 (Potentially $2.5m down Monday)
25m opened early December between $1-$1.05 (potentially $9-10m down if price hits $1.40 Monday).
10m mid December below $1.05 of that around 6m below $1. (Potentially $4m down on Monday)
7m between $1-$1.10 (potentially $2.5m down on Monday)
4m between $1.10-$1.15 ($1.2m)

Its pretty crude but I reckon theres around $60m under $1.05.

DYOR but my guesstimate is the shorters will be $34m+ in the red in 23 hours time before counting interest.

Only 2.5m closed out above $1.15 by Jan 8.

They going to be hoping $1.40 resistance holds but I cant see it happening.
