BTW, despite the concerns expressed by "Energy Intelligence", above, my own digging suggested that KAP may well be moving more towards the West.
Specificaly, the new Kazatomprom CEO is a Kaz native, who did undergrad in Ankara, followed by LSE and Harvard. So we're not talking an overt Russian stooge.
The six-member board is all Kaz natives, educated in the US, UK, or Canada, except for one guy educated in Russia.
