There were a few things going on with him for sure, but he died bankrupt with liabilities greater than assets. No one knows what actually caused him to pull the trigger but his gamblers luck certainly came to an end within a few years of his stock market jackpot win, proving the inability to win by frequently trading. IMO, he is proof that a long term buy and hold strategy is the winning strategy (although it's certainly not for those who enjoy a thrill like Jesse!)
