It's 97% of climate scientists agree, not 98%. And were you aware that that figure comes from a University of Illinois survey of 10000 scientists of which only 3000 responded. Of those 3000 80% were doubtful that man had much influence.

So the "researchers" narrowed the field to climate scientists who had published more than 20 papers and ended up with 77. Of the 77, 75 agreed that man was having an effect on climate. So 75 scientists and many activists agree that we should destroy our economy to fix a problem that seems to have gone away.
Checked the Gistemp or HadCrut lately? No rise for a decade. Seen the sunspot numbers? Way down. Could be some serious cooling coming to a place near you. The deniers these days are people like yourself who refuse to look at the reality.
