Perhaps ESG had to agree to it because it was the only way they could secure this first offer from Santos on the table??
Reserve upgrades are reserve upgrades but you have to wonder about the extreme efforts gone to, to keep this "deal" as tight as possible!
I think our best chance is to hope SANTOS will generously revise their offer when the reserves come out?? But why would they when they don't have to?
100 Million + cross trades .. they must have had something to do with it all.. preparation for this scheme of arrangement vote perhaps?
God it sucks being in the dark!
