    I thought the announcement last June indicated APA thought all the early groundwork would be completed by the end of last year Therookie ….
    I am not trying to do any empty pumping here and my earlier post was a best case scenario (where near term gas on tap could fuel early works even before the FID) but maybe the spur won’t be started until after the FID, as you say, and maybe APA will only have a small (slow) team doing the installation and it will take months and months to build?

    Also whilst I agree the official financial decision may be a key step, it seems the spur will also be of benefit to neighbour AVL and possibly others, so APA may want actually to get started (slowly?)ahead of final approvals?
    (especially as the whole 580km mainline seems to be preemptive as in The West story’s {posted earlier}; “Mr Watson said APA was “investing ahead of demand”, but was confident that “the customers will take the volume that we need to make it viable for us”.)​


    Regardless of the “what ifs” I think the completion of the main line is good news!
