If I am not mistaken, the proverty treshold in the Philippines is around 19,000 pesos per annum per person. Therefore, whether or not 300 pesos a day or 109,500 a year is bad or resonable by Philippine standards does depend on the number of members pertaining to the family in question. If below 6 then by Philippine standards they would not be considered to be in a very bad situation. I was there last month and seasonal workers picking up tobacco leaves and hanging them on bamboo poles for drying were being paid 140 pesos for 12 hours work.
