I am of the opinion that the US and GLE in particular would like to be able to use their technology to enrich or re-enrich UNF from the Asia Pacific region, far better logistics concerning the shipment of UNF and the re enrichment of it?
The ALP are saying they don't want Nuclear, but would prefer Carbon Capture and Burial of Co2 material, it is a very costly exercise I believe? which would mean even higher power prices here as if they were'nt dear enough already, In the US they are saying that SMR's will work out at a similar price to Gas power generation where Gas is relatively cheap and causing problems for today's nuclear, I think we need to use our vote to let the ALP know how we feel on this subject.
