Good article in the Age day, with the key part for was the statement "the meeting with the Downer team in Changchun should have set the alarm bells ringing way before the announcement of overrruns".
Downer struggled to hire a suitable in China to resolve their issues (ie inadequate language/engineering skills etc), so when you read stuff like this it continially shows mean relying on what brokers say or company announcements are almost worthless.
Those in the know have been getting out of DOW for ages...at our expense.
Reaffirms my idea to use what TA skills I have rather tthan rely on a broker or company report to make investment decisions.
Out of Dow for the moment.
