Quite so grant but in the US the very integrity of the electoral process is failing.
If votes go astray in Australia the due processes of justice are followed without favour or bias.
In the US dirty tricks are common and justified by mainly the perpetrators - the Republicans. Disenfranchisement of voters has been widespread and commonplace. The Republican surge in voter support has coincided with the spread of electronic voting machines in which only the end sum can be checked - the tally and where it came from is lost. there have been cases of public tests where a deliberate vote for one party showed up as a vote for the other party. What is more, the Republicans have been stacking the state and deferal courts with reppublican judges and that means the last resort to fair process is biased or at least suspect.
How to believe in such a system? It smacks of and it is an institutionalised system for vote fraud.
Your side have implemented it, but one day the other side may get control of it.
Not good enough grant. Not good enough by half.
(no doubt you would have been a Bjelke-Petersen voter but look where that ended)
