Rewind to just over 12 months ago and I was just another frustrated long term BKP shareholder who felt like we were on a road to nowhere. The announcement in June 2012 of the Statoil farm-in was certainly positive, but it did not compel me to invest even further in the stock. Today however the picture is somewhat different given that in addition to the great acreage, we have Statoil stepping into the breach as operator. The story is slowly but surely getting back on track. So today I did what I thought unthinkable not so long ago and started to average down. Hoping for some half decent results in the medium term to keep Statoil interested... let's hope this story ends up a fairytale.
