This is well worth listening to because it de-Trump's the US-China debacle and pins it down to the USA's tecthonic shift in China expectations immediately after the GFC. The USA had erroneously equated China's modernisation with Westernisation and of course Xi put the kibosh on that with the BRI, Made in China 2025 and shoe-horning himself into the job for life dispelling any US notion that he may be here today & gone tomorrow.
