I know that this may be scary for those with heads in sand and bum in air but we have to understand what led to China's rise if either: (a) we want to stop it (b) we too want to industrialise and retain our position as being a Global middle power.
Just look at Israel in the M/E: -Population one third Aus -virtually no natural resources -industrialised -armed to the teeth ( including Nukes) so that hostile neighbours are afraid to say boo to it!
