Also to note on risk management and loss, today I sold a position in a different company, I had been holding for months as a short term trade that went bad, this story is completely un-related to XPE.

I sold that position for a 12.5% loss, this may sound bad, however I had let the position run as far as an on paper 50% loss. I had judged that it was in my best interest to sell today based on technical indicators at a 12.5% loss on my mistake in the first place of taking that position, becoming trapped in it and having a percentage of my capital tied up in it, when I had no desire to hold it based on any fundamentals.

I was just trapped because of my own stupidity, complete lack of plan regarding the purchase and I decided rather then hold out and recover that 12.5% which in my opinion may not happen in the short term. To cut the loss and get that capital back.

Even if the stock regains that 12.5% next week, for me personally I have made the right decision as I cannot afford to have capital tied up in positions that are not moving. I highly value liquidity and have learned a lot from roughly 3 months ago when I opened that position. Had I known what I know today I wouldn't have opened the position in the first place, but you must make mistakes to learn from them.

Back on track, all up I'm happy with how XPE did today, it closed above vwap, and formed a Doji on the daily chart, I will have a look at the Intra daily chart after this, I had been busy all afternoon babysitting that mistake position I mentioned above, looking to sell it at the peak. (which again cost me productivity today)

Really depends how Monday goes now, its entirely possible 3.0 might be the low price to buy in at if from today it re-gains strength, not many were sold at 2.8 and supply had dropped at 2.9. So all up for the weekend, don't stress over XPE, wait for Monday and see what direction the chart gives. My plan hasn't changed I would still be looking to buy more between 2.8 and 2.5 but it's fortunately looking less likely that's possible.

I hope everyone has a good weekend, my partner is coming up to visit and we are going out, meeting my parents, etc etc so I will be busy this weekend. But I will drop in as much as I can, I hate being away from my computer.
