"Workers at Streets ice cream have endorsed major productivity concessions under a peace deal that will see multinational Unilever drop its threat to terminate an enterprise agreement and unions end their attempted consumer boycott of the company’s iconic ice cream brands.
A meeting of employees at the company’s Minto plant, in western Sydney, tonight backed the in-principle settlement that delivers significant workplace changes, including a new seasonal roster, more flexible work practices, shorter breaks and a limited number of voluntary redundancies."
