    This is more confirmation bias at play, Scott, though to be fair I will give you this one. In days gone by I think it would have been fair enough to trust that the ABC wouldn't present an outlier opinion and pass it off as the consensus. Unfortunately the ABC has become an agenda-driven propaganda machine, don't take anything it publishes as fact until you get another source.

    However in this case the article is grossly misleading. The guy quoted in the story has been on a personal anti-cannabis crusade for years, but the RANZCP (of which he is the Chair) not only support the use of medicinal cannabis for all the reasons that this one doctor doesn't, but they also support decriminalisation of cannabis.

    'Doctors' may be against it, they've spoken to 2. But the entire College supports it and they didn't want to speak to any of those, lol. Imagine if the ABC did that with, say, climate change :/
