That supercharger sounds like an ideal tool for miller cycle engines. (Low fuel consumption acheived through low compression ratio engines where compression is supplimented through forced induction.) Google them for more info. Basically they deliver excellent fuel economy but the power output is low relative to their engine capacity. Ideal for use in hybrid systems where max power is supplimented by electric engines.

More hybrids, more low compression engines, employment of these superchargers, more rare earth demand.
