In Regards to "we just need Eskom to build a plant next door and all will be sweet"
We already sweet. Posted an article I found but no one gave a **** about it yesterday. Seems like ESKOM are willing to foot the bill for delivery? Or at least some form of infrastructure..... Summary of article..... 1. Additional costs to the SA economy include massive damage to the regional road network. 2. The increased dependency on road transport significantly impacted road infrastructure. Eskom is assisting with the repair of roads where necessary in order to facilitate coal transport and road safety. 3. To achieve this Eskom will have to work in conjunction with other government departments to build dedicated rail lines to certain power stations as well as dedicated haul roads.
