Interest rates aren't coming back down, they're going back up to over 10% on the US 10 year treasury.This the 70's all over again, which I lived and traded through.Just when they thought the back of inflation was broken it took off, again and again.
It wasn't until Volcker got ahead of it with rates that inflation was finally chocked, unlike Powell who is pussying around, thus ensuring inflation is going to pounce back, only worse.
